D-West H&S is a volunteer, parent run organization with the goal of helping other parents stay informed of the happenings at D-West and across the district. We meet once a month with Dr. Barker, our Principal, to learn of all the new and exciting things that occur at D-West. Often we will arrange to have presenters on various topics to give an in-depth view of important issues that can affect our kids. In addition D-West H&S supports our teachers and students through various fundraisers and volunteer opportunities. Look for ways to support D-West H&S in the Weekly email blast!

The Post Prom Committee is looking for volunteers for the 2023 Post Prom Party.  The parents of West students hope to again host this event for the Class of 2023.  The Post Prom is a FREE event held following the Senior Prom for ALL Seniors and a guest, regardless of their attendance at the Prom.  The Post Prom Party is held to provide a drug- and alcohol-free event for the seniors to continue to enjoy their end of Senior Year celebrations, it includes activities and entertainment, prizes, food and so much more!  However, we cannot offer this event without the dedication of West parents of  ALL GRADE levels.  We currently have only a few parents that have continued to commit to ensuring we can plan this year’s event, as many of our dedicated parents no longer have students at West.  We are specifically looking for assistance in leading our decorating committee and co-chairing the event.  Please join the first Home & School meeting to learn more about how you can be a part of West’s 19th Post Prom Party.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions at DTownWestPostProm@gmail.com, or message us through Instagram @DWestPostProm or Facebook @Downingtown West Post Prom 2023.
