The Post Prom Committee, which consists of Downingtown West parent volunteers, has been committed to organizing a FREE celebration held following the Senior Prom for ALL Seniors and a guest, regardless of their attendance at the Prom, since 2004. The Post Prom Party is held to provide a drug- and alcohol-free event for the seniors to continue to enjoy their end of Senior Year celebrations. It includes activities and entertainment, prizes, food and so much more! However, we cannot offer this event without the dedication of West parents of ALL GRADE levels. We are always looking for volunteers to assist with our various committees to help plan this almost $20,000 event. Funds for the event are received through various fundraising efforts, community sponsorships, and a grant through The Chester County Department of Drug and Alcohol Services.
In addition to the planning of the event throughout the school year, we are also in need of additional volunteers to help set up, chaperone and clean-up for this event. We need many hands to help transform our school into a once in a lifetime celebration for our graduation class. We can not do this without your help!! Furthermore, your involvement this year may make a difference in ensuring this possibly life-saving event continues for our future Downingtown West graduating classes.
